Is the test in Swedish?
Yes. The citizenship test is conducted in Swedish.
Both the questions and answer options are in Swedish. This means you need to be able to read and understand Swedish to pass the test, including the civics part.
That is why there are two things you need to practice: facts about society and the ability to read the questions. On Medborgarkoll you can read our explanations in simple Swedish/English, but it's also a good idea to practice reading ordinary Swedish.
We offer information in easier language to help you understand the process — not to make the test itself easier. The test is in Swedish.
